Seating rules for Groups

Use Same group as to place students in the same defined group, or Different group from to place them in separate groups. Same pair as needs pair units; two desks beside each other do not automatically form a Pair.

Not next to checks the neighbor links shown in the editor. Two students can meet that rule while sharing a group. Use Different group from when they need to sit in separate groups.

Check the rule results before applying an arrangement. Required rules can conflict, and some preferences may remain unmet. See a seating-rule example.
